Interact - Hembree Springs Elementary School

The Hembree Springs Elementary Interact Club has 30 members, two teacher sponsors and two Roswell Rotary Liaisons. The Club meets monthly and during the 2018-2019 school year is participating in the following projects:

• Executed Hands on Hembree Day (school beautification)
• Made blankets and collected supplies to deliver to Good Mews Cat Shelter
• Volunteered at the Secret Santa event with MUST ministries
• Hosted a "give back" party for the local fire station
• Participated in Adopt a Squadron - collected donations and wrote letters for care packages to go to 1-108th squadron. Also wear red on Wednesdays to honor those deployed.
• Participated in Colorcycle marker recycling program with Crayola
• Raised funds for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Pennies for Patients campaign
• Implemented the Be THE Voice campaign

The Hembree Spring Elementary Interact Club received the District Governor's Citation in 2014-2015 and 2015-2016, and the Zone Award in 2015-2016 and 2016-2017.
